Cartoon taco reading a book
  • Student Activities

Stop by the library to pick up a Reading Tracker or print one out at home. To complete this challenge, you need to read 20 minutes per taco (see tracker), up to 3 tacos per day. You can read anything you’d like: part of a book, an article, closed captioning on the TV, or anything you enjoy. Write down what you read below the tacos. Then, once you have a row of tacos filled, talk to any adult in the building about what you’ve read. Have the adult sign that row, and you sign the adult’s form. Once you have all your tacos read, turn your tracker into the library for a prize. There will also be smaller prizes given throughout, so be sure to have your tracker with you at school and watch our student news for the prizes! See Mrs. Martinez with any questions.
