Please fill out the device agreement if you are new to our district. If you filled this out in any Widefield District School last year, you do NOT need to fill it out again. You will need your student's ID number which can be found in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal or from one of our counselors.

School laptops will be issued to students beginning on August 15th. If you don't fill out a device agreement, your student will need a parent-provided laptop.

If your student has any outstanding technology fees from last year, those will need to be paid before a new laptop will be issued. You can easily pay fees online. Student fines are listed in Infinite Campus

Once you get your device, please inspect it for any damage and fill out the Device Conditions Receipt so that you are not charged for those damages.

Here are some important tips for your school laptop:

  1. Mrs. Martinez, our librarian, is here to help you with any technology problems. If you need assistance, visit the Sproul Library.
  2. If there is any damage to your device, fill out the Device Receipt immediately after receiving your laptop. There will be a QR Code for the receipt inside each device. If the damage is mechanical or concerns you in any way, bring it back to Mrs. Martinez immediately so she can swap it out.
  3. Keep track of your charger. In fact, you should just leave it at home. The number one reason that chargers get lost is that students lend them to a friend but never get them back. If you lose your charger, the replacement cost is $30.
  4. Charge your laptop every night before you go to sleep. If you keep it charged, you don't need to bring the charger to school. Therefore, it can't get lost.
  5. Be gentle with your laptop. The screen is the most fragile part of the laptop. If you press too hard on the screen, you can damage it. If you throw your backpack around with your laptop in it, you can damage it. Screens cost $100 to replace, so take good care of your device! Using a laptop sleeve (15.6") is a great way to reduce damage. NEVER carry your device by the screen.
